Police briefs: Car collides with shopfront

A car crashed into a Kendal Street shopfront over the weekend. Photo Facebook.A 30-year-old man has been charged with low-range drink driving after being random breath-tested.
Police will allege the man was stopped for the purpose of a random breath test on Sunday, February 8, which returned a positive reading.
The man was arrested and conveyed to Cowra Police Station where a breath analysis was performed.
He returned a reading of 0.072.
He was issued with a Court Attendance Notice and will appear before Cowra Local Court in the coming weeks.
Police are investigating malicious damage which occurred to a house in Logan Street Cowra about 9.35 pm on Saturday, February 7.
The victim reported damage to the metal security screen door and wooden front door.
Police made extensive patrols to the area however were unable to locate any persons of interest.
Witnesses say no one was hurt after a car collided with a shop front on Kendal Street on Saturday, February 7.
Police said the driver was attempting a U-turn at 4pm when it collided with LJ Hooker.
