A two-time championship player with the Bendigo Spirit, Wilson has spent the last three seasons playing with the Knox Raiders but has made the decision to return to her former club for the upcoming season.
The Leongatha native said returning to the Braves was a great opportunity for herto continue her basketball career in the town she now calls home.
“I enjoyed my time at Knox but I’m really looking forward to returning to the court with the Braves,” she said.
“I consider myself a bit of a Bendigo local now that I have lived here for so long, so it will be great to return to such a successful club that has tremendous support from the community.
“They have had a lot of success over the past couple of years and hopefully we can get over that last hurdle and win a championship.”
Lady Braves head coach Jonathan Goodman said bringing Wilson back to the club was a tremendous coup for the club.
“Kelly is a dynamic scorer that can play both guard positions and will provide valuable leadership for the team,” he said.
“More important than that, though, she is a great person and an asset to have in the program.”
